What is the day in the life of a Bali digital nomad (specifically Ubud digital nomad like)? Watch to find out. In Bali, we work German times (so about 3pm to 12am), which sounds daunting, but ended up being a blessing in disguise, freeing up the morning and early afternoon for us to do whatever we wanted. As you can tell from the video, we live probably a pretty normal lifestyle in Bali, including going to the gym, running errands, etc. But thanks to Bali, we get the chance to enhance our day with lots of thrills, such as good local eats, taking scooters, and the occasional dip in the villa's swimming pool.

We asked ChatGPT (with some very basic prompting abilities) to plan us a weekend trip to some off-the-beaten-path locations in North Bali. After an initial over-ambitious plan (taking us basically to Java island 🤣), we tweaked the system a bit and it spit out a sizeable itinerary for us to follow. Along the way, we encountered torrential downpours ⛈, a temple-theme park fusion 🛕🦜, mountain lakes 🏔🐟, "dolphins" 🐬, and a scooter accident 🛵😵 that could have been worse but still wasn't fun. While we didn't do everything on the list, we forever thank the ChatGPT AI gods for the good vibes Northern Bali experience that we would never have had without its expertise. 

Here is the exact itinerary ChatGPT gave to us:

Day 1:
- Leave Ubud early in the morning and head north to Munduk. This journey will take around 2 hours.
- Visit Lake Tamblingan and Lake Buyan, which are two volcanic lakes located in the Bedugul area. These are off-the-beaten-path locations with very few tourists.
- Enjoy lunch at a local warung near the lakes.
- After lunch, head to Munduk and check-in to your accommodation.
- In the afternoon, visit the Munduk Waterfall, which is a beautiful waterfall located in the hills of North Bali.
- Spend the rest of the afternoon exploring the local area around Munduk, which is known for its scenic rice paddies and coffee plantations.

Day 2:
- Wake up early and enjoy breakfast at your accommodation in Munduk.
- Visit the Banjar Hot Springs, which is a natural hot spring complex located in the village of Banjar. Here you can take a dip in the hot springs to relax and rejuvenate.
- After your visit to the hot springs, head back to Ubud. This journey will take around 2.5 hours.
- If you happen to be in Bali, this itinerary is well-worth it, albeit a little long for all the scootering hours we put in within the short amount of time. Best advice is to slow it down even more!
