My best travel friend, Bhumi, and I wanted to escape the touristy hell of Prague's Old Town and ended up in the burbs. Before we knew it, we were eating the localist of Czech fare, crossing highways and rivers, crashing stag parties, and doing whatever we could to find our way back to the Old Town and River Vltava .

#PickAStop: Prague Edition

The Hopeless Roamantic

Friday night, three drinks in, maybe some tequila involved. Suddenly, I found myself on Flixbus (https://global.flixbus.com/) booking a trip for the next day to Prague, something I would likely not do if alcohol weren't involved. 

Hangover in full force, we stumbled to the bus station and made our way to Prague for less than 24 hours. But this is the beauty of Europe, and why not take full advantage of it.

Restaurace Pastička (decent food, but a bit overpriced for what it is)
The Saint's Bar (gay bar with a super intimate, friendly vibe)
Restaurace U Bansethů (AMAZING FOOD, cheap, massive portions. Menu is completely in Czech and their duck is superb)
Střelecký ostrov (Park in the middle of the river, super tranquil)
