Gay pride in Mexico is a celebration of LGBTQ+ culture and rights across the country. From the beach parties of Puerto Vallarta to the massive marches in Mexico City, Mexico's pride events combine colorful activism with unforgettable fiestas. With celebrations happening from May through June, there are plenty of opportunities to experience Mexico's welcoming and passionate LGBTQ+ community.

Gay Pride Mexico

Puerto Vallarta Pride

• Pride Events Dates: May 17 - May 24, 2026
• Parade Date: May 21, 2026 (TBC)
• About: Puerto Vallarta Pride is a gorgeous celebration set against the backdrop of this beautiful Mexican destination. The events include parades, beach parties, and cultural activities, showcasing Puerto Vallarta's commitment to LGBTQ+ equality. Puerto Vallarta Pride's main parade starts at the Sheraton Hotel and ending at One Six One PV Bar. The Pride Block Party takes place on Lázaro Cárdenas, featuring live shows and acts. The event includes Mantamar Pride Pool Parties, Industry Night Club parties, and the Bear Pride event.
• Where to stay: Casa Cupula, an exclusively LGBTQ+ hotel overlooking the Pacific Ocean, and Garlands del Rio right in downtown are popular accommodations for visitors during Puerto Vallarta Pride.

Guadalajara, Gay Pride Marcha de la Diversidad

• Pride Events Dates: June 5 to June 14, 2026
• Parade Date: June 13, 2026
• About: Guadalajara is one of the most secret gay meccas of Mexico (and even the world) and they have a fantastic Pride line-up. Guadalajara Pride unfolds over two weekends, with the Marcha del Orgullo GDL the first weekend, and Guadalajara Pride the following. Both events begin at La Minerva roundabout, marching toward Liberation Square. The second weekend's event culminates with an after-party featuring live shows, drag performances, and DJs. Zona Centro and Zona Rosa host Guadalajara’s lively LGBTQ+ scene, from intimate bars to large clubs like Babel Club and Cabaret Bar.

Mexico City Gay Pride

• Pride Events Dates: June 24 to 29, 2026
• Parade Date: June 27, 2026
• About: Mexico City Pride is one of the biggest and wildest LGBTQ+ celebrations in Latin America, filling the streets with color, music, and nonstop fiesta as millions join the parade from the Angel of Independence to the historic Zocalo. The city’s gay district, Zona Rosa, becomes the beating heart of Pride with bars, clubs, and queer spaces spilling into the streets, while circuit parties, bear events, rooftop raves, and after parties keep the energy going day and night. From the massive main march to pool parties, internationally known circuit festivals, and live performances in the Zocalo, Mexico City Pride blends activism, culture, and pure queer joy into a celebration that is loud, proud, and full of Latin flavor.
