Welcome to The Fabryk, Our First Post

Hey everyone and welcome to our blog, The Fabryk, composed of Fabio and Ryan. For more, check out our About Us.

We created this blog because frankly, we were uninspired and dissatisfied with our day-to-day and felt we needed a project to motivate ourselves and others around us. As gay men, we are bombarded with messages from all different mediums to be a certain way, when in fact, we should be embracing our uniqueness. We spend so much of our lives trying to hide and change ourselves to be something we are not, and while some of us are fortunate enough to come out and be accepted by those around us, it takes a long time to rebuild our authentic selves.

We want our readers to become the best, most authentic versions of themselves by:

We try our best to not sound pretentious, as we are all in this journey together. Our intention is to merely inspire our readers.

Much Love, F + R

Fabio and Ryan

We're Fabio and Ryan... a Venetian and a British/Italian-American from New Jersey who met in Berlin, realized our day jobs were slowly killing us, and decided to do something about it. **The result is The Fabryk: a gay travel site covering the destinations most LGBTQ+ guides ignore.**

Between us, we've lived in Germany, China, India, and Italy, and traveled across Europe, Asia, Latin America, and beyond. Ryan has over a decade on the ground in Asia alone. Fabio has covered gay nightlife, Pride events, and queer travel scenes across three continents. Together, we've built one of the few English-language resources that goes deep on gay travel beyond the usual circuit cities... think Gay Tbilisi, Gay Chengdu, Gay Belgrade... written from actual firsthand experience.

*Our mission is straightforward: show LGBTQ+ travelers that going off the beaten path isn't just possible. It's usually the better move.*

We tried to start a cooking show first in our underwear. But as our stove broke, it clearly did not go well. Travel turned out to be the better idea.

Enjoy, sexy readers ❤️.
